How Much Does Shipping Cost and How Are Shipping Rates Calculated?
Shipping is calculated based on the zip code of the destination from our warehouse in Texas, and the
weight of the package via USPS Priority Mail. Shipping charges are calculated and presented to you in real
time during the ordering process, allowing all charges to be known before you complete your order. We
do not use a one-charge fits all pricing policy. The shipping charge shown on your invoice when you check
out is the actual cost to ship the package to your door.

Package Tracking
Orders to Canada are shipped via USPS Priority Mail and expected delivery is usually within 2 - 8 business
days (pending customs clearance). USPS will not forward packages to Canada without a valid phone
number. Local taxes and custom duties are the responsibility of the customer. Please check with your local
customs office for details on how these charges are assessed and applied. Packages that are returned due
to unpaid duties and customs will be charged an additional shipping fee.

While we pack our order with extreme care, the shipping carrier can sometimes still damage the orders. In
receive goods damaged in-transit, carefully verify the extent of damage in the presence of the driver, if
possible, keeping all packing materials and box intact, then notify AfroVeda after you have called the
shipping carrier to start a claim.
If the driver is already gone, then you will need to contact the shipping carrier to inspect the damage/loss to
start the claim before a replacement can be sent. New items will be shipped as soon as damaged or missing
items have been returned to us or verified by AfroVeda or a Claim number has been issued to us by the
carrier. If you are in a hurry for a replacement then please start the process as soon as possible.
NOTE: You must retain the original packing materials until any claim is resolved. If you discard the damaged
goods, there may be no refund or credit by the carrier due the fact that the claim will not be able to be
verified.

business days for processing your order (not including Sundays and holidays). USPS Priority Mail
Priority Mail Flat Rate box charges, or determine if your order can fit in one. However, we will use this
service where possible and adjust your Priority Mail shipping charges accordingly.
We don't ship COD, nor do we ship any packages collect. We strive to keep your shipping charges as low as
possible. Our shopping cart has been set up to determine your shipping charges using real-time shipping
rates provided by USPS. This system is unable to determine and account for multiple boxes or certain
surcharges, therefore your shipping charges may be higher than our online estimate if multiple boxes are
required. You will be sent a modified invoice alerting you to these additional charges.
In all cases we pass on our heavily discounted rates to you, our customer. We do not operate our Shipping
Department as a profit center. Please note that your shipping cost is calculated on-line and is based on
weight and your location.
If you supply us with an incorrect address/zip code, we will charge you the extra shipping charges that occur
for correcting the address or intercepting the package; you agree to this additional charge to your credit
card.
